Je blogue, donc je suis.

So today I finally made another blog post, and besides my slow and paltry production I have to wonder why. The post itself, Hey, Hey! Ho, Ho! Western Civ Has Got To Go! is OK in the sense that it’s not wrong, but – as with much of what I write – it doesn’t cover enough details. I have to keep it slim if I’m going to complete the logic of what point I’m conveying. But the real message I’m working on here is why I am doing this if I’m not presenting a case at least as well, if not better, than anyone else. What value am I adding?

And, of course, not all blog posts are equal. There are some I’ve written that I do like, but today’s is kind of…meh.

It may be something I hope to refine with time. Monetizing is not the goal, but publishing my not necessarily astute, unique, or prescient thoughts is more akin to an old man shouting at clouds mode than anything interesting.

The next one may be more satisfying.
