Saint Renee

 A 37-year-old woman named Renee is now being canonized by the Left after having been shot, and killed, by an ICE officer. “Murder” they call it.

There are multiple videos that show her attempting to flee after inserting herself in the middle of an ICE immigration operation. One officer has his hand on the driver side door handle when she attempts to accelerate away. At that moment, clearly visible, another officer is directly in front of her car. He jumps aside and fires simultaneously.

The driver was hit and died. The whole thing was over in seconds, and everyone involved made instantaneous and instinctive decisions. The driver made the decision to flee while operating a deadly instrument in the midst of agents on foot, and one of them instinctively reacted to a life-threatening situation. Sad for everybody.

But she put herself in a potentially dangerous position, willfully interfering with a law enforcement action and unfortunately caused herself to become a casualty. Calling it murder is at best disingenuous or otherwise just plain stupid.
